Emperor Suizei, also known as Kamu Nunagawamimi no Mikoto, was the second Emperor of Japan, being born in 632 BCE to Emperor Jimmu and Himetataraisuzuhime. According to the Nihon shoki, it is stated that he came to power in 581 BCE and proceeded to reign for another thirty-one years until his eventual death in 549 BCE. Despite his fame however, it is speculated whether he existed or not, due to the fact that he is fit into the "Legendary Emperors" category.
